ABC Family Weekend to show “Harry Potter” marathon beginning on Wednesday

Just in time to hold us over until Pottermore grants full access next month and the Warner Bros Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter opening at the end of this month, ABC Family will be showcasing another full weekend of Harry Potter, but this time it starts on Wednesday night.

ABC Family has long been associated with showing great behind-the-scenes footage and specials when it comes to the Harry Potter series, and although we don’t know if anything new will be played, we always look forward to a weekend of Potter.

Here’s the schedule:

If you’re wondering why Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Deathly Hallows Part 2 are not airing, HBO owns the first-time air rights. Currently, the Deathly Hallows Part 2 doesn’t have an official air date on HBO, but it is expected to premiere on the premium cable station by Summer 2012.

So tune your televisions in and set your DVR’s for another magical weekend beginning this Wednesday on ABC Family. Check local listings for times and channels in your area.
