Video: Emma Watson on red carpet for London premiere of ‘Perks’ states she will definitely read ‘The Casual Vacancy’

by Keith Hawk · September 27, 2012

Last night, Emma Watson attended the London premiere for her latest film The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

During an interview, she was asked about J.K. Rowling’s new adult novel The Casual Vacancy to which she replied:

“I didn’t know that her book was coming out tomorrow [today] until today, but it is kind of weird that we are both making our first tentative Post-Harry Potter steps at the same moment. I think it’s quite poetic really.“

When asked is she will be reading the novel?:

Oh yeah, absolutely! I’m a huge fan of hers!

Have you seen the film The Perks of Being a Wallflower yet? What did you think of Emma’s performance? Let us know in the comments below.
