Warwick Davis to release mobile game, “PocketWarwick”

The much beloved Warwick Davis, who portrayed Professor Flitwick & Griphook the goblin, is launching a new mobile game for iOS & Android phones & tablets! The game, which releases in the Apple iTunes store October 25 and GooglePlay in November, is reminiscent of the Tamagotchi games of the mid 90’s.

Not familiar with Tamagotchi? Well, the basic premise of the game was to keep alive a digital pet. You had to feed it, clean it, walk it, etc. PocketWarwick promises the same kind of game play, but with – you guessed it – a tiny Warwick!

The virtual Warwick has a lot of the same likes as the flesh & bone Warwick, (such as chocolate biscuits!) and these will be included in the game. However, unlike the Tamagotchi, you don’t have to just keep Warwick alive, you have to help him get acting work, and eventually reach the A-list!

Warwick talks more in depth about the mobile game in an interview with DigitalSpy, which can be seen here.

Do this game sound like fun to you? It sounds hilarious – and fun – to me!
