Staffer Eric Scull celebrates 10 years with MuggleNet!
Today, MuggleNet staffer and MuggleCast co-host Eric Scull (pictured above with his father… not really…) celebrates 10 years with the site. Eric started way back on a Fall day in 2002, when Goblet of Fire was still fresh off the presses.
He has a been a pillar of the Potter fan community, having dedicated roughly half his life to MuggleNet, running the site’s Caption Contest, participating in numerous events, and attending conventions all over the world. From London to Sydney to Las Vegas to New York, Eric has represented the site in literally all parts of the globe. Here’s a small sample of Eric’s work, from the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Celebration.
Many know him for his colorful, opinionated, and often times spiel-like contributions (hence the Twitter name @spielerman) on our podcast MuggleCast, which he has helped co-host since Episode 3 — that was over 7 years ago.
Having helmed the infamous Caption Contest for the better part of a decade, we felt it only appropriate to allow you all the chance to caption this photo of Eric from LeakyCon 2012!
From all of us here at MuggleNet, congrats on 10 years with the site!
