Recipe of the Week: Golden Snitch Cake

It was in Harry’s first year at Hogwarts – and with barely one flying lesson under his belt – that he became the youngest Seeker in a century. The most important part of Quidditch for the Seeker, of course, is the Golden Snitch. Just a tiny little thing compared to the Quaffle and Bludgers, the Snitch is a magically enhanced golden ball with two fluttering wings.

Melinda was inspired by the Golden Snitch cake that Mrs. Weasley baked for Harry’s 17th birthday in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. However, Melinda brings us a gluten-free version that is sure to be just as delicious.

If you have your own Potter recipe you’d like to share, please follow our submission guidelines. Thanks for sharing!
