Hot butterbeer now being served at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

Visitors at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter can now sip hot butterbeer to keep out the winter chill! It was announced today that the new form of the wizarding drink is available throughout the theme park, and it makes a cozy alternative to the already popular cold, frozen, and ice cream butterbeer varieties.

Universal celebrated the new beverage by serving complimentary cups to some lucky visitors at the Leaky Cauldron and the Three Broomsticks.

MuggleNet was able to try hot butterbeer for ourselves earlier this year at the Harry Potter Celebration. Check out our review of the delightful drink here!

You can grab a cup of hot butterbeer in both sections of the theme park. In Diagon Alley, it’s available at the Leaky Cauldron, the Hopping Pot, and the Fountain of Fair Fortune, and in Hogsmeade, it’s available at the Three Broomsticks and the Hog’s Head.

And if you can’t make it to the Wizarding World anytime soon, there’s always our recipe section, which features a variety of butterbeer recipes and many other Potter-themed tasty treats!

Will you be trying hot butterbeer? How do you think it will compare to the cold and frozen versions of the drink?
