New clip from Jim Broadbent and Warwick Davis’s “Get Santa” released!

In our latest Role Call post, we were able to share with you one of the first stills from the upcoming holiday film Get Santa, which stars two Harry Potter actors, Jim Broadbent (Professor Slughorn) and Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick). The trailer for Get Santa, which was released last month, shows Broadbent as Santa Claus, who finds himself stuck in Britain. With no one to deliver presents, Christmas seems to be left in jeopardy.

As a new clip from Radio Times shows, however, one young boy isn’t so quick to assume the man is a fraud. The clip

[…] sees nine-year-old Tom (Conn[o]r) venture into his dark, slightly creepy garden shed only to find Father Christmas himself having a nap after getting stranded in Britain.

Get Santa also stars Rafe Spall (whose father is Harry Potter actor Timothy Spall), Joanna Scanlan (The Invisible Woman, Stardust), Jodie Whittaker (Broadchurch), and Kit Connor (An Adventure in Space and Timei).  It is set to be released in the UK on December 5. At this time, no additional release dates have been announced.
