BAFTA Auctions Exclusive Backstage Photography for Charity

BAFTA is currently auctioning 17 images from their exclusive “BAFTA, Backstage” photography collection. These photographs provide viewers with a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the British Academy Film Awards and include images of two actors from the Harry Potter universe, Helena Bonham Carter and Eddie Redmayne.

Each photograph is the second of ten prints. They are each numbered, stamped with the BAFTA mask, and signed by the photographer. Prices are listed in pounds and are expected to sell for at least £2,000. Proceeds from the auction will go toward BAFTA’s year-round charitable work, which benefits the public, rewards excellence, and inspires practitioners.

Fans and art enthusiasts can participate in the auction online at the Paddle8 website. Anyone hoping for a chance to snag one of these limited edition prints need to act fast, though, because the auction closes this Wednesday, July 15.

Other photographs that fans of fantasy films may be interested in include those of Martin Freeman (The Hobbit) and Sir Ian McKellen (The Lord of the Rings).
