“Fantastic Beasts” Soundtrack Release Date Announced

We all love the Harry Potter soundtracks, and so we were thrilled but not surprised to hear bits of “Hedwig’s Theme” in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailers. We now know when we’ll get to hear the full soundtrack: November 4, 2016 – two weeks before the film hits theaters.

As we learned back in April, the score is written by renowned film composer and eight-time Oscar nominee James Newton Howard, who has written scores for films such as The Hunger Games, The Sixth Sense, and King Kong. Dare we hope that his ninth nomination be for Fantastic Beasts?

The soundtrack will be released by WaterTower Music both digitally and physically. A vinyl version is also available for pre-order on Amazon.
