“Crimes of Grindelwald” Costumes on Display in Houston, Texas

by Lucy O'Shea · October 19, 2018

For one weekend only, visitors to the Edwards Houston Marq*E Stadium 23 & IMAX movie theater in Houston, Texas, will be able to get up close and personal with the costumes from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the movie theater will display costumes belonging to some of the main characters from Crimes of Grindelwald from October 19 to October 21. Featured in the display are costumes belonging to Newt Scamander, Tina and Queenie Goldstein, Albus Dumbledore, Jacob Kowalski, Theseus Scamander, Credence Barebone, and Gellert Grindelwald.

Thanks to images revealed by Pottermore last month, we know that costumes and props in Fantastic Beasts not only reflect a character’s personality but also often contain a number of hidden clues about their role in the film.

As well as marveling at the work of Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, visitors to the Edwards Houston Marq’E Stadium 23 & IMAX movie theater this weekend will also be able to scope out any hidden clues for themselves!

Next up, it’s the Maledictus. There’s certainly something animal-like in her costume! #WandsReady pic.twitter.com/lQ9R8ftB23

Which Crimes of Grindelwald costume is your favorite? Will you be heading to Houston this weekend?
