“Puffs” Has Announced an All-Australian Cast for Its Sydney Production
Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic is coming back to Australia, and the loyal Aussie fans cannot wait. The comedy play, written by Matt Cox, has already had successful runs in New York City and Melbourne, as well as on the big screen, and will now be taking on Sydney with its all-Australian cast.
Several of the cast members from last year’s Melbourne production are rejoining the show, including Olivia Charalambous as Susie, Daniel Cosgrove as J. Finch, Ryan Hawke as Wayne, Gareth Isaac as the Narrator, Lauren McKenna as Leanne, Annabelle Tudor as Hannah, and Matt Whitty as Ernie.
New to the show are James Bryers as Cedric, Adam Marks as Oliver, Angelina Thomson as Megan, and Kimie Tsukakoshi as Sally. James Haxby and Brooke Rayner will be the production’s swings.
Puffs is set to open May 23 (previews beginning May 17) at the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, Sydney, and will run until June 30. Saturday and Sunday matinees will be special performances appropriate for children ages 8 and up. Preview tickets cost $49.90; general tickets start at $69.90 plus booking fees.
