Universal Orlando Resort Announces 2019 Holiday Events
It’s not quite May, but it might be time to book your plans for this holiday season! Universal Orlando Resort has announced its 2019 holiday events, and you won’t want to miss out. From November 16, 2019, to January 5, 2020, Universal Orlando Resort invites you to “[p]ut a little mischief in your merry.”
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is getting in on the holiday magic at both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. On the Universal Studios Florida side, guests will get to see a “special show” from Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees.
Diagon Alley™ and London are transformed with festive décor and brilliant lighting. There are special holiday treats and drinks, and the atmosphere is brimming with excitement. King’s Cross Station features buskers playing holiday favorites and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees have a special show prepared just for the occasion.
At Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Hogsmeade will be decorated, and guests will also get to take in a magical light projection show.
Hogsmeade™ embraces the holiday spirit as the shops are festively decorated with garland and lights. The Frog Choir sings seasonal melodies and there are special treats and drinks to share. As the stars begin to shine, revel in a dazzling projection of holiday spirit at The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts™ Castle unfolds.
There’s even more in store! At Suess Landing at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, there’s the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular and a separately ticketed the Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast. At Universal Studios Florida, get ready for Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s, a parade featuring the Minions, Santa Claus, and characters from Madagascar and Shrek.
