Pottermore to Become Wizarding World Digital

Pottermore, which launched in 2012 and relaunched in 2015, has announced an exciting new change – Wizarding World Digital. The new venture will unite Pottermore and Warner Bros., which will give Wizarding World Digital access to more material from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series than ever before.

Pottermore chairman Neil Blair commented on the decision.

This venture will widen and deepen what we have been able to do on Pottermore so far. There’s no reason now why we won’t be able to do something because there’s a rights issue. The only limits will be our imaginations and what technology is available.

There’s no word yet on any new content, though Pottermore has confirmed that a new team will be established for WWD and no jobs will be lost.

What do you think about this decision? Are you excited to see what Wizarding World Digital has to offer?
