Daniel Radcliffe Joins Upcoming “Kimmy Schmidt” Netflix Special

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fans, rejoice! The show’s 2020 Netflix special, which will be interactive, will feature Daniel Radcliffe.

Netflix has previously given viewers interactive specials, most notably Black Mirror‘s Bandersnatch and Bear Grylls’ You vs. Wild. These specials allow viewers to choose the direction the story will take, which does raise an interesting question. What if Radcliffe only appears in one version of the story? We’re hoping that won’t be the case!

It hasn’t yet been revealed what role Radcliffe will play, but based on what viewers know about Kimmy Schmidt, it could be anything from one of Titus’s costars to Radcliffe himself (like Greg Kinnear) to even (dare we say it?) Harry Potter.

Radcliffe will join the current cast of Kimmy Schmidt, which includes Ellie Kemper, Jon Hamm, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski, and Carol Kane.

Netflix has teased what the special will be about.

Will you foil the Reverend’s evil plan and get Kimmy to her wedding on time? Or will you accidentally start a war against the robots? So grab your remote and a tray of delicious scrod, ’cause Kimmy’s got her own Netflix interactive special.

Could Radcliffe play Kimmy’s soon-to-be husband? We can’t wait to find out!
