Another Familiar Face Set to Return for “Fantastic Beasts” 3

At times it feels like the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald was only yesterday, and yet it also seems like a lifetime ago. It’s probably safe to say that Potterheads are ready to dive into the magic of Fantastic Beasts 3. Recently, more exciting information has been released about the upcoming film, and more cast members have been announced.

Even though his name does not yet appear on the cast listing for Fantastic Beasts 3 on IMDb, Callum Turner confirmed in a recent interview that he will return as Theseus Scamander. We’re not sure whether Newt will be pleased. Even though Turner didn’t reveal much about what we can expect to see from his character this time around, he did say that he would start working on the film sometime in mid-February. At the time of the interview, he hadn’t even seen the script yet. It’s clear that the next film will have just as many secrets as the previous two. All we do know for sure is that production will officially start this spring.

Potterheads all over the world are holding their breath for the third installment. Crimes of Grindelwald didn’t do as well as expected, so it seems that Warner Bros. is ready to pull out all the stops this time. Even Steve Kloves, who wrote seven of the eight screenplays for the Harry Potter films, is back in the game. He cowrote the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts 3 with J.K. Rowling, and we bet it’s going to be something to talk about.

The majority of the third film will be set in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but there have also been mentions of including more scenes at Hogwarts, which we really hope will be the case. We’re also quite curious to know how many new characters we’ll be introduced to in the third film and who will be cast in those roles. Whom would you like to see enter the wizarding world in Fantastic Beasts 3? Let us know in the comments.

Growing up, I was a massive fan of Harry Potter and my love for the stories grew as I got older. It’s no surprise then that I love writing about all things Potter related. When I’m not writing about all the magic, you’ll find me reading (probably something Harry Potter related), listening to music, or writing some songs.
