Social Media Roundup: Furever Friends and Memories of Kobe Bryant

Welcome to another Social Media Roundup. In this week’s edition, stars of the Wizarding World share images and videos of what they have been doing over the past few weeks, including going on podcasts talking about mental health, remembering basketball player Kobe Bryant, spending time with their four-legged furever friends, catching up on and going to shows, and more.

Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) was catching up on the reality singing show Masked Singer.

Rankin also spent an evening with Nina West, Donna Trump, Magic Adam, Alfie Ordinary, and Emily Meow at the final night of The Magnificent Nina West Show in Bristol.

He even thanked and commended veteran TV host Phillip Schofield, who came out as gay, for inspiring courage in others.

Can you believe it has been a little over 40 years since John Williams started his scoring sessions for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back with the London Symphony?

David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr.) and his son Ty were presenters at the 25th National Television Awards, which took place on January 28.

Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) shared an image of a few cats that are up for adoption with the Stray Cat Alliance that are purrfect.

Just came across some horrible pictures of piglets being castrated and felt overcome with sadness that that’s happening on a constant loop. But the sadness isn’t helping me or the animals, it’s important to shift gears and always focus on what we can do. Here are some animals we CAN save that I met last week at @straycatalliance. These beautiful babies are up for adoption! Cheesecake, the Persian is 11 years old and has a sister with her and they need to find a loving home they can go to together! 2 gorgeous middle aged lady Persians, I can’t cope!! My face in the pics is an accurate representation of the devastating love I feel when I meet a Persian cat I can’t keep. 😭 and I can’t remember the name of this stripy, chunky heartbreaker but he is also up for adoption and he has so much love to give as you can see! Please do give @straycatalliance a follow and support their work of fostering and adopting beautiful cats! And stay tuned for my interview with the brilliant founder, Christi Metropole about her work to save cats, and some complicated issues for shelters like trap, neuter, release and no-kill vs open admission. Got to explore a lot of topics I previously didn’t understand so thank you Christi for the education. 🙏🏻 #cats #StrayCatAlliance #catsarelife
