Small Things Con will feature panels, book recommendations, and activities held at all times of the day. It’s absolutely free to attend, though the HPA will be accepting donations toward its charity initiatives throughout. Events will be held over social media, through YouTube streams, and on Facebook. You can join fans around the world in building their own Pygmy Puffs, attending leadership seminars, and celebrating Fred and George’s birthday in style from March 23 all the way until April 4.
Small Things Con was created around the idea that in a time of fear and crisis, it’s the small things that matter. An online gathering of fans to celebrate a shared love for all things Potter is the perfect way to lift one’s spirits in difficult times. The HPA’s larger goals are centered around rallying fans to create positive change and spread light through events and charity drives like these: Its current Granger 2020 campaign seeks to create political interest, and past initiatives have included an immigration justice campaign and aid to refugees.
Be sure to check out the schedule, and get your online ticket for Small Things Con. We can’t wait to join the Harry Potter Alliance for two weeks of “joy, enthusiasm, creativity, and small actions that create big impact”!
