Magical “Harry Potter” Pins are Coming Your Way

Funko Pop! has been very generous with its Harry Potter merchandise lately. Most Potterheads probably already own Harry‘s and Hermione‘s Funko Pop! Patronuses. Ron’s Patronus was released on March 4, which means that most fans probably have completed their Patronus collection. Just when we thought all the fun was over, Funko Pop! surprised us once again with a tweet announcing its new set of Potter merchandise. Yes, our vaults at Gringotts are also starting to look a little empty, but how are we supposed to resist all this amazing merchandise?

If you thought that you would be able to give this new release a pass, we can almost guarantee that you probably won’t be successful. The new Harry Potter Funko Pop! collectibles will be available soon, and it comes in the form of pins. Yes, pretty soon you can wear your favorite character close to your heart (if you’re not planning on sticking the pin on your backpack, stat). Funko Pop!’s tweet wasn’t very detailed, but from what we can gather from the picture, the pins will feature Harry, Hermione, Ron, Albus Dumbledore, and Hedwig.

These pins look very promising. They have all the small details fans would want from merchandise like this. Harry’s lightning scar is visible, and Hermione wears that serious expression we all know and love. Ron stands out from the rest with his bright red hair, while Dumbledore wears his famous half-moon spectacles with a burgundy robe and cap, decorated with silver scrolling and stars. Hedwig also doesn’t disappoint – with large eyes and snowy feathers complete with black flecks, she looks just like the owl we remember from the films. Are you counting your Galleons yet?

It would be very cool if these pins are the first of many. Who wouldn’t love a Luna Lovegood pin? Or a pin featuring Fred and George Weasley? Hopefully, these are in the works and will be available at a later stage.

No release date has been set for these pins just yet, but we hope that Funko Pop! announces more details soon. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available. Are you going to spend some Galleons on these? Let us know in the comments.

Growing up, I was a massive fan of Harry Potter and my love for the stories grew as I got older. It’s no surprise then that I love writing about all things Potter related. When I’m not writing about all the magic, you’ll find me reading (probably something Harry Potter related), listening to music, or writing some songs.
