Warner Bros. Studio Tour London Suspends Ticket Sales Through 2020

Few Muggle attractions are as much a cornerstone of the Harry Potter franchise as Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is. With its iconic Great Hall and diverse galore of props, the exhibition has become a must-visit site for all fans to relive the magic of the Potter movies. Unfortunately, it could be a very long wait before its majestic doors are opened once again.

In a statement released on the Studio Tour’s website, Warner Bros. announced that ticket sales for the remainder of 2020 will be suspended temporarily:

We have decided to temporarily suspend ticket sales for the remainder of 2020 due to the current level of uncertainty regarding when visitor attractions will be able to re-open [sic] and the number of visitors that we will be able to welcome at that point. This decision has been made to minimise any further disruption to bookings and to ensure that we can adapt the Tour with reduced visitor numbers if required.

Currently, the company is working on refunding outstanding bookings for the month of June. All refunds will be processed by June 15. Additionally, gift tickets will be revalidated until December 31, 2021. Visit the official Warner Bros. Studio Tour website for more details.

In spite of this disappointing news, not all hope is lost. Warner Bros. will be monitoring the situation monthly and providing regular updates. Hopefully, if the pandemic situation improves, the Leavesden attraction will be ready to welcome visitors well before this year ends.
