Freeman Design Launches Jewelry Collection Inspired by the “Harry Potter” Films
Freeman Design, a Seattle-based jewelry company run by Asher Freeman and Danielle Saudino, has launched a new collection of licensed fine jewelry based on the Harry Potter films. As noted on its website, Freeman Design gained the attention of the Harry Potter fandom when a ring box that Freeman and Saudino had created to look like the Golden Snitch went viral.
The full collection includes a new display version of the Golden Snitch ring box, plus plenty of other stunning pieces. A list of all the items and their customization options is available below. How about a Niffler Chasing a Diamond Necklace?
Not only are the designs beautiful, but Freeman Design also notes that it emphasizes ethical practices in its work.
Freeman Design actively promotes woman-owned businesses, small family businesses, and buying near the source from local cutters whenever possible. Their work highlights the beautiful array of gems available to ethically and environmentally conscious clients.
Asher Freeman was quoted in the press release:
The pieces have been designed to draw you into a magical world, and like so many others across the globe, the Harry Potter stories and films holds [sic] a special place in my imagination. As a fan and designer, I’m proud to have crafted these heirloom pieces [that] fans can cherish for a lifetime.
Freeman added that many of the pieces also contain hidden elements.
We’re widely known for the quality of our gems, hidden elements and attention to detail, and this collection is no different. From the Sword of Gryffindor [Ruby] Necklace studded with fine [r]ubies to the solid-gold Golden Snitch that opens to display a secret gem.
