Events Roundup: Virtual Discussions, Muggle Parties, and “Potter” Quizzes

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and for us here at MuggleNet, that doesn’t mean flowers or chocolates. It means more Harry Potter and all things magical! Okay, maybe we can have a few flowers here and there, but as long as there’s some magic nearby, we’re happy. With that in mind, let’s get started on this week’s Events Roundup.

Hogwarts Professors Quiz

How well do you know the professors of your favorite school? Probably much better than you know your own teachers. Prove your knowledge with the Ultimate Hogwarts Professors Quiz. This event will take place online on Friday, February 12 at 9:00 p.m. PST. Be sure to brush up on all things Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape and prove you know the professors of Hogwarts as well as you think you do. Winners of the quiz will take home a special Hogwarts-themed prize. Registration is free and open now. Check out the event website for more information.

Prove you're the smartest in your class!

Wizarding Reforms

Have you ever thought about the social issues throughout the wizarding world? Perhaps you have some ideas about how witches and wizards around the world can create a better community. Then join a conversation of like-minded wizards and Muggles to discuss what the wizarding community can do to modernize and reform. This online discussion session is free to join and will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 5:00 p.m. PST. Registration is free and open now. Be sure to check the event website for all information.

Bring your opinions forward and join the discussion.

Learn to Draw Harry

Everyone needs some creative outlets now and again, especially kids. In this workshop, kids will explore the medium of paper and pencil as they learn to draw Harry himself. Kids seven years of age and older are welcome to join. Under the instruction of a professional artist, students will learn the differences between pencil types and how they differ from markers and pens when it comes to art. Tickets start at £5.44, and the workshop will be held on Thursday, February 18 at 7:00 a.m. PST. Check out the event website for more information and the Zoom link.
