Social Media Roundup: All the Emotions

Welcome back to all you wonderful Muggles, witches, and wizards. It is once again time to see what some of the Wizarding World stars have been up to in the latest edition of MuggleNet’s Social Media Roundup! During the past two weeks, there have been many emotional events that have affected the Wizarding World stars, such as a pregnancy announcement, birthday wishes, joyful pictures of their pets, and the heartbreaking tributes to Helen McCrory.

Helen McCrory (Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter series) passed away at the age of 52 from cancer, which she had been privately battling. Her husband, Damian Lewis, announced her passing on April 16, saying, “She died as she lived. Fearlessly.” She will be missed. You can read the Wizarding World cast and crew members remembering Helen McCrory here.

On an episode of their podcast, Normal Not Normal, James (Fred Weasley) and Oliver Phelps (George Weasley) answered questions from the listeners and interviewed each other.

Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) also shared some facts fans may not know about her, including that she has a book coming out next year!

Also seeing double was Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), who took a photo of someone watching one of his movies during a flight.

Sharing a throwback photo, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) wished his Harry Potter costar Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) a happy birthday! We hope it was a great one!

Taking to Twitter to happily announce that he has an appointment to get a COVID vaccine was Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley).

Tom Felton announced that he has collaborated with the band TRINIX on the track “Little Bit,” which is available for preorder now.

Sharing news that had some Wizarding World stars giving congratulations was Afshan Azad (Padma Patil), who revealed that she and her husband are expecting their first child. We wish them all the best!

Before we say goodbye for another two weeks, it is time for the pet portion of the Social Media Roundup, featuring Bonnie Wright, Mads Mikkelsen (Gellert Grindlewald), and Sinead Matthews (Mildred).
