UK Travel Agents to Receive a Magical Education

Travel agents in the United Kingdom will soon be able to sign up for an official online training course covering all the Harry Potter attractions in London. Anyone who takes the course will not only learn about two attractions (Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter and Covent Garden’s new Harry Potter Photographic Exhibition) but also have access to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child tickets.

This marks the first time that the attractions have been combined into one educational course, which will open on September 1. Each will have its own module in which travel agents will be taught how to present the experiences to Muggles and more easily secure tickets.

With Harry Potter and the Cursed Child returning to the West End this October, UK travel agents will also be given access to exclusive trade tickets for performances until October 2022. The show’s producers, Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender, have said that they are particularly looking forward to working more closely with the travel and tourism trade.” They also said this about reopening:

As we all look to recover from the effects of the pandemic together, engaging with Britain’s vibrant tourism community will make this chapter just as exciting as when we first opened.

Now that travel agents in the UK will be taught about these magical experiences, and with COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, it will be easier than ever to explore the UK’s Wizarding World attractions. Are you hoping to visit any soon?
