London Production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” to Reopen in October 2021
The wait is almost over. It’s been confirmed that the production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London, England, will resume performances starting October 14, 2021.
The play will continue performances in the original two-part format at the Palace Theatre in the West End. London viewers may want to count themselves lucky after it was announced that several North American productions would only see a single-part format moving forward.
Performances for the West End are currently scheduled to run from October 14, 2021, until March 22, 2022. Jamie Ballard, who portrays Harry Potter, made a statement on behalf of the company.
We are all so excited to be coming back to the magical world of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and have utterly missed being at the beautiful Palace Theatre as a family doing what we love. There is nothing quite as special as being able to share that unique experience with our wonderful audiences. It will be an absolute joy for us to perform for them once again and to welcome them back to our very own Hogwarts!
Tickets are currently on sale for the performances between October 2021 and March 2022. Prices will remain at £15 per part, and “there are over 300 tickets at £20 or less per part.” Grab your wands and cloaks because it’s time to get ready for the magic!
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child productions in New York, California, and Germany have all been scheduled to reopen in the coming months, with additional productions planned to open in Canada and Japan. More information for performances close to you can be found online at harrypottertheplay.com.
