“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” Set to Be Released a Week Early in the UK and Ireland

We have some good news for Fantastic Beasts fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The third film of the franchise, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, is set to be released a week earlier in these countries.

The initial date for release across the UK and Ireland has been announced as April 8, 2022, whereas in the United States, it will be released in theaters on April 15, 2022. That’s an entire week to wait for fans living on the other side of the Atlantic. Spoilers will have to be avoided at all costs until the US release date.

The global release date of April 15, 2022, has been moved from an original July 2022 release date. The film was initially scheduled for release in July due to having to find a replacement for Johnny Depp’s character of Grindelwald. However, to the delight of Fantastic Beasts fans, the film will be ready to screen in April instead after Mads Mikkelsen was brought in to star as Grindelwald.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore follows the success of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, released in 2016, and Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald, released in 2018.
