Bloomsbury Announces 2022 Theme and Date for Eighth Annual Harry Potter Book Night

Exciting news has graced our Twitter feeds recently with the announcement of the 2022 theme and date of Bloomsbury’s annual Harry Potter Book Night. The theme for the eighth year is Magical Journeys.

In honor of celebrating 25 years since Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was released to the public, it’s time to reflect on the amazing and magical journey that the book series has taken millions of fans across the world on. Bloomsbury UK is inviting witches, wizards, and Muggles alike to take part in this magical journey with specialty crafts and activities on February 3, 2022. You can register today on the website for your event kit.

Harry Potter Book Night was started in 2014, and it’s a time for fans to celebrate the series with special events, parties, and other festivities. Libraries, schools, bookshops, groups of friends, and so many others will be celebrating this night with their own events.

The event kit has activities for readers of all ages and is suitable for lifelong fans who can quote the books word for word and for young readers experiencing the magic of Hogwarts for the very first time. If you’re interested in hosting your own event, you can add it to the Book Night Event Map so other fans close by can join in on the fun. Check out this video showcasing all the fun that goes along with Harry Potter Book Night.

These events look like such an amazing time. We are so excited about this theme for 2022. If you can’t make it to an event, follow along with the fun on social media with the hashtag #HarryPotterBookNight. Will you be planning your own event for Harry Potter Book Night? Let us know and share your ideas!
