First Footage from “Secrets of Dumbledore” Released Ahead of Trailer Monday

Warner Bros. has released the first footage from the third Fantastic Beasts film, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, ahead of the official first trailer coming on Monday. (Call it a trailer for the trailer, if you will.)

The footage comes at the end of a video posted by the official Fantastic Beasts pages on social media, featuring archival footage from the Harry Potter films as well as other videos of fans at events related to the Wizarding World franchise. The new footage doesn’t reveal too many spoilers, but we’ll still preface this with a spoiler warning if you’re looking to avoid anything about the new film until it is released.

The Fantastic Beasts account followed that tweet with a separate tweet to announce that the real trailer will drop on Monday, December 13, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (or 3:00 p.m. GMT).

 

 

The account is also encouraging the use of the hashtag “#SecretsOfDumbledore” on Twitter.
