“Fantastic Beasts: The Wonder of Nature” Is Coming to Melbourne, Australia
Arguably, part of the magic of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts is how believably, if secretly, their stories play out within the Muggle world. It’s in this spirit that Melbourne Museum in Australia embraces its latest exhibition, which is opening to the public next month. Given the magical museum days that Fantastic Beasts: The Wonder of Nature has already brought to London, not to mention Toronto, we’d say Melbourne is in for a fantastic time.
Fantastic Beasts: The Wonder of Nature allows guests to explore the link between our natural world and the myths and legends that inspired the magical creatures we’ve come to love. The unique exhibition is a collaboration between Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and the Natural History Museum in London and will display diverse specimens and artifacts alongside props from both film series, Wizarding World models, and original artwork from Bloomsbury Publishing.

The exhibition will emphasize the importance of protecting our natural world, as well as highlight the real-world scientists who, like Newt Scamander, have worked to both further our understanding of Earth’s living creatures and promote their preservation.
Fantastic Beasts: The Wonder of Nature opens Friday, May 19, and will run through Sunday, October 8. Tickets are for sale now with both timed and flexible entry options.
