Amtrak Partners with “Cursed Child” on Broadway

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway has had a lot to celebrate lately. From once again breaking records in ticket sales to the recent five days of magic in honor of the show’s fifth anniversary, the Lyric Theatre has been an exciting place to be. Now, fans can begin to experience the magic before they even arrive.

In its first large-scale collaboration with a Broadway play, Amtrak has teamed up with the Cursed Child production in New York to become its official rail transportation partner. Fans can now save some serious Galleons by earning and redeeming Amtrak Guest Rewards points on tickets through Broadway’s loyalty program, Audience Rewards.

Guests can be assured they will be traveling in wizarding style, because between April 28 and June 25, they can catch one of four specially wrapped Amtrak trains anywhere between Washington, D.C., and Boston, Massachusetts. The locomotives sport the show’s logo as well as dynamic images of the story’s central characters.

Granted, they’re no Hogwarts Express, but Amtrak trains are not without their comforts. Free Wi-Fi is offered on all locomotives, as well as plenty of legroom and spacious, comfortable seats. Fans won’t be able to buy anything from the trolley, but the café car will ensure no one arrives at their destination hungry.

Registration is open now. Will you be buying a ticket?
