Alfie Enoch talks “How to Get Away with Murder”

by Alison Siggard · October 6, 2014

Alfie Enoch, who played Harry’s fellow Gryffindor Dean Thomas in the films, is featured this week in Entertainment Weekly. Alfie, who has guest starred on popular BBC programs Sherlock and Broadchurch, was recently cast in ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder after a Skype audition with series creator Pete Nowalk.

In the interview, Alfie discusses his acting career and his skepticism on landing the role. Of course, he mentioned his time on the set of Potter. When asked about the plot of his new show, he admitted even he doesn’t know the ending:

It’s a similar thing in a way with the excitement I had as a kid doing Potter: Every time a new book came out, I wanted to know because I loved the books. And then I wanted to know what happened to my character.

It seems like the show is already a hit: Moviephone is reporting that the show has beaten the previous record for highest DVR viewership, with about 20.3 million people watching.

Were you one of those 20.3 million, or will you be tuning in to ABC to see Alfie in this new role? Let us know in the comments!
