Hallmark to Release New Collection of “Harry Potter” Ornaments

by Dora Bodrogi · May 26, 2021

Ho ho ho! Wait, what do you mean it’s May? We are already planning our decorations for this year’s holiday season now that Hallmark has released its brand-new collection of Christmas ornaments. Not only are these little things adorable, but some of them also have additional features that will surely add extra charm to your tree.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione are always hanging out together, right? This could be true for your Christmas tree as well, where you can hang a mini set of ornaments of your favorite characters. The golden trio comes in a set that is packaged in a box easy for gift giving.

A branch of a Christmas tree is pictured with a set of miniature Harry, Ron, and Hermione ornaments hanging from it.

Hallmark has managed to capture the scene in which Harry realizes that the Sorcerer’s Stone, much coveted by Lord Voldemort, is actually in his pocket. Who doesn’t remember this plot twist in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, including Harry’s torn red sweater and the surprised expression on his scarred face? The iconic moment can be a part of your Christmas tree for $17.99.

Against a white backdrop, a lifelike ornament of 11-year old Harry is pictured as he is holding the Sorcerer's Stone, in the red sweater and brown pants as seen in the movie.

Fans who grew up with the series have reached the age of parenthood. If you are at a loss about what to give your friends who are still wizards and witches at heart even now that they have welcomed their baby into the world, Hallmark has the perfect solution: a baby mobile ornament with “Wizard in Training 2021” written on it. This is an ornament that will surely be passed down from one generation to the other.

A tiny baby mobile ornament in white and gold is hanging from a Christmas tree branch. A golden snitch, an own, aa sorting hat and a broomstick, as well as a sign saying "Wizard in training 2021" are hanging from the ornament.

There is also a three-dimensional reimagination of the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book based on Mary GrandPré’s cover illustration. On the ornament, Harry is pictured holding the golden egg he won in the first task alongside the other Triwizard champions: Cedric Diggory, Fleur Delacour, and Viktor Krum.

If you are looking for something extra, we recommend Hallmark’s ornament of the Three Broomsticks inn from the village of Hogsmeade.

For a more enchanting display, insert the bulbs of a standard miniature light string through the rubber grommets on the ornament to create a special lighting effect.

A minuature ornament of a snowy Three Broomsticks inn is pictured against a white backdrop, with lots of rooftop windows that light up when the ornament is connected to a light source.

The back of a Christmas ornament shaped like The Three Broomsticks inn is pictured, showing two holes where a small light source can be inserted for extra effect.

Finally, something seriously cool can adorn your tree this year. Hallmark’s battery-operated Sorting Hat can talk and move, exactly like the magical object of the books. It can Sort you and your guests into any of the four Hogwarts Houses, and it can recite a few lines of its self-penned poems. Head on over to the product page to see it in action.

All the above ornaments are available to purchase starting July 10, except for the Sorcerer’s Stone and Goblet of Fire designs, which are available to purchase starting October 2. Will you be decorating your tree with Hallmark’s new collection?
