Potterhead Running Club Announces Mind the Gap 14.2K

It’s time to get moving, Potter fans! The fourth event of Potterhead Running Club’s 2021 season is waiting for you to register. Registration is open for the Mind the Gap 14.2K, in honor of the 142 staircases at Hogwarts, and the swag for this virtual run will get you up and moving.

This magical “moving” medal is a true representation of the enchanted stairs at Hogwarts. The center steps spin! Not to mention the many faces and poses of Albus Dumbledore on the back. This 3” medal is included with registration for the event, along with the custom sublimated ribbon and a personalized digital bib.

Potterhead Running Club wanted to capture the madness of both the staircases at Hogwarts and the navigation of the London Underground system on the event T-shirt, with proceeds benefitting Sea Turtle, Inc. The support of Sea Turtle, Inc. will help fund its incredible rescue work and specifically, make sure the newly hatched babies can safely cover that “gap” getting to their new oceanic home.

Potterhead Running Club has added some extra fun to this run by creating the optional run day on June 16 since that is World Sea Turtle Day. Registration for this event will close on June 20 at midnight. Medals will ship out to participants the following week.

How fitting would it be to get your 14.2K run or walk in and then rest up by watching your favorite Harry Potter film on HBO Max? Have you participated in a Potterhead Running Club event?
