“SpeakBeasty” Episode 131: “Like a Grand and Miraculous Mustache”

We’re back! After a brief hiatus, SpeakBeasty is back with a look at what we know so far about the upcoming Fantastic Beasts 3 film. 

On this episode, join hosts Amy, Ann, Marjolaine, and Shannen as we dive back into speculating about what we may see in this next chapter of the globe-trotting adventures, and how glorious mustaches might come into play. On this episode, we’ll discuss everything we know about Fantastic Beasts 3 so far, from recent casting news to leaked set photos to possible trailer release dates. 

Actor Richard Coyle has been added to the Fantastic Beasts 3 IMDb page, but he is currently the only cast member on the list without a character name. Whom do you think he’s been cast to portray? As Marjolaine points out, in an interview given while Fantastic Beasts was filming, Coyle was sporting a large mustache, which he said was for his current role. Many fans are speculating he could be a young Aberforth Dumbledore, but our hosts think a Horace Slughorn appearance could possibly make sense in the timeline. 

During our time off, we did not sit idle but instead developed several new and exciting show segments, two of which you’ll be introduced to in this episode. Marjolaine takes us through a slightly believable yet also debatable theory about Albus Dumbledore’s possible Animagus form, while Shannen and Amy face off in a “Battle of the Beasts.”
