Ten Totally Serious Predictions for “Secrets of Dumbledore”

With the announcement of the title of and release date for the third installment in the Fantastic Beasts franchise comes predictions as to what Dumbledore’s secrets could be. Join us as we present ten completely serious and realistic predictions sourced from MuggleNet staff members as to what secrets about Dumbledore (and his family) could be revealed in the film.

 

1. Draco and Dumbledore are the same person.

Draco Malfoy is actually a time-traveling Dumbledore. That’s why the information for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore was announced on Tom Felton’s birthday.

2. Ron and Dumbledore are the same person.

Dumbledore dies at the end of the film, and we discover he’s a time-traveling Ron Weasley.

3. Albus Severus and Albus Dumbledore are the same person.

The Albus Dumbledore Harry knows is actually his son, Albus Severus, time-traveling, trying to make sure everything goes according to his plan.

4. Credence is not Credence.

Credence is revealed to be Ariana Dumbledore, which is how Grindelwald knows he is a Dumbledore by blood.

5. Albus Dumbledore is missing from the film.

Albus Dumbledore will not be present in the film at all. Only the other Dumbledores will be seen and interacted with by the other characters.

6. Jude Law shows his acting chops.

Jude Law plays all the Dumbledore family, differentiating between them with absurd wigs.

7. Jacob’s bakery plays a key role.

Dumbledore, in his efforts to stop Grindelwald, sends him poisoned pastries from Kowalski Quality Baked Goods.

8. We learn something new about Dumbledore.

We learn that Dumbledore is an Animagus and that his Animagus form is Dougal the Demiguise. This allows us to understand why Dumbledore does not need an invisibility cloak.

9. We learn more about Aberforth’s experiments.

Aberforth Dumbledore experimented with his goats. The result was turning a goat into Credence, making him a Dumbledore by experimentation only.

10. The new beasts aren’t actually new beasts.

The “new” beasts said to be featured in the film are actually Dumbledore disguised using Polyjuice Potion. One of his transformations goes awry, and he becomes stuck as a giant squid. To remain close to Hogwarts, he moves into the Black Lake.
