Are you in Australia and in need of somewhere to escape into fantasy and magic while shopping for some licensed Harry Potter merch? We’ve got you covered with The Cauldrons Cafe & Emporium, where you’ll find licensed merch and collectibles in Springwood, Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia. Gabriel and Shaun decided to turn their passion for Harry Potter into a business where they could provide their customers with a positive and fun experience. We’ve compiled seven reasons why you should visit this magical store and experience it for yourselves.

Cool Collectibles

From a Nimbus 2000 to Funko Pop!s to plushies to home decor, The Cauldrons Cafe & Emporium has you covered. Need some new bookshelf decor? Need something new to hang on your bedroom wall? Just want some cool new Harry Potter merchandise? They’ve got you covered.

Parties

Parents can book some magical-themed birthday parties where they will even have their own seating area to watch their kids have a wicked good time. You’ll get printed invitations, a dedicated professor to teach the kids (or adults) some fun crafts and games, and lots of goodies, including potions. They even offer a wide variety of catered platters for the event. Choose between some savory sweets, fresh fruit, or salty goodness, and enjoy yourselves without that pre- and post-party stress. Looking to soothe your inner child or have a magical birthday party of your own? The shop offers adult parties too.

Unique Products

The Cauldrons Cafe & Emporium offers a wide variety of products, with everything from bath products to craft supplies to unique jewelry. Feel like Hermione in her Yule Ball earrings, relax with a magical bath bomb, and get crafty with some House-themed ribbon. They even have fun, unique film cels that include movie-themed film strips and mini-posters.

The Cafe

The Cauldrons Cafe includes an array of magical goodies. They’ve got coffee, tea, milkshakes, and even smoothies that are sure to get you in the shopping mood. They have also recently added pre-packaged sandwiches to their menu to pair with their delicious brews and treats.

Classes

Be sure to keep an eye on their website for fun classes and events such as potions class, jewelry making, and wizard’s bingo. Is there a better way to spend a holiday break or long weekend than attending a potions class? We think not.

Monthly Trivia Nights

The store hosts a monthly trivia night where anyone can join in on the fun and win some wicked prizes along the way. Join in if you think you have all of the knowledge — or even if you don’t — and enjoy a night of fun, laughs, and magic.

VIP Program

The Cauldron Cafe & Emporium has a VIP program where you can earn rewards points through eligible purchases. Join online or in-store easily. You must be 18 or older and a legal resident of Australia or New Zealand. Earn points, rewards, and special offers to be used for purchases online and in-store. With this membership, you will also receive early access to limited products and pre-sales, and birthday party deals plus a voucher for your birthday.

The Cauldrons Cafe & Emporium is celebrating a birthday this year; it turns one on July 31. In celebration, they are hosting a fundraising event on July 30 to raise money for Supertee, a charity for sick kids. The event is “Wizards High Tea” and will include light snacks, refreshments, games, and prizes. The price of entry is $55, and it will be running from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. If you would like to see more, be sure to follow them on Instagram and Facebook, and check out their website.
