J.K. Rowling lands on 2012 Top 100 Best Selling Books list with “The Casual Vacancy”

According to a recent article in USA Today, J.K. Rowling was listed in the Top 100 Best Selling Books for 2012 with her first adult novel, The Casual Vacancy.

The Casual Vacancy was received with mixed reviews from critics and fans alike but was in the No. 1 spot for the week of October 4, 2012. However, the popular author was able to cast her spell and land on the 23rd spot of the Best Selling Book List with the novel.

When Barry Fairbrother dies in his early forties, the town of Pagford is left in shock.
