After the thrilling announcement back in September that J.K. Rowling would be penning a script based on her Harry Potter companion book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, there has been very little further news about the project’s development and projected timeline – and it looks like fans are going to have to wait a while longer yet. In a new interview Warner Bros. president of creative development and worldwide production Greg Silverman revealed that the company has set no deadline for the Fantastic Beasts script.
A group of students at the New England School of Communication in Maine is creating a short live-action film adapting J.K. Rowling’s “The Tale of the Three Brothers” from The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Filming on the short has already begun.
