Our friends over at Wizarding Life (creators of WrockBox) have let us know about a new fan-interactive experience to rival any other. The Magic is Might Experience is an in-character, four-month, alternate-reality game that invites Harry Potter fans to immerse themselves into the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, from the moment Voldemort took over the Ministry of Magic to the Final Battle of Hogwarts; and the game begins today.

Warner Bros. has announced that the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 will take place on Thursday, July 7 in both Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square.

“This will be the first red carpet film premiere event in Trafalgar Square, the instantly recognisable landmark providing the iconic backdrop for one of the biggest film premieres to ever take place in the capital.”

With the Potter franchise being honored at the BAFTAs this Sunday, producer David Heyman has been making the rounds with the media.

Heyman recently spoke with Empire Online, where he discussed the past 14 years of working on the series and gave some insight into two important scenes in Part 2.

A new still, which appears to be from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, has appeared online.

It depicts Harry, Hermione and Ron looking up at what appears to be something emitting a lot of light.

Any guesses as to what this scene could be?

Andrew Ackland-Snow, the art director for the Harry Potter franchise, has revealed that Severus Snape will have a death scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 which is different from what’s found in the book.

The image isn’t the best quality but it’s exciting to see something new from the film! Some fans think this is right after Neville kills Nagini – do you agree?

The Guardian recently interviewed Deathly Hallows composer Alexandre Desplat where he gave a little insight into his work on the final Potter film.
