In this week’s installment of Pottermore Moments Revisited, Harry learns more of the truth, and we get a few exciting moments on the site.
I wake up, disoriented, as a horrible screeching rings through my head. Stumbling out of bed, I go through the methodical routine of grabbing my phone, keys, and a jacket before filing out of the building for the third fire drill of the semester. Your original “Harry Potter” podcast celebrates the month of September in the usual way: by welcoming new Hogwarts students (such as James Sirius Potter), by speculating on fan-submitted theories, and by commiserating on the many failures of Pottermore. Do not fret! – sharing in the experience with friends makes all of the difference.
We’re thrilled that MuggleNet is part of the international Magic and Mayhem Tour celebrating to countdown to Six of Crows! September 24-29, bloggers in the US and UK have been paired up to share their own Six of Crows-inspired lists, such as six tips for surviving the Grishaverse, six signs you do/don’t have what it takes to join Kaz’s crew, and more. PLUS, we have a fantastic competition to win a swag pack across all 12 blogs taking part.

BuzzFeed and non-“Harry Potter” fans, the reason we Potterheads always talk about the series is because we are so enthusiastic about it, and we want to share our enthusiasm with others! So whether you’re reluctant to read the series like I was years ago, or whether you’ve never wanted to give it a chance because everyone seems to love it, here are my reasons why I wholeheartedly believe everyone should read the “Harry Potter” series.
