Emma Watson was awarded with the coveted Woman of the Year Award at GQ‘s Men of the Year Awards this past Tuesday. Hosted at London’s Royal Opera House, the awards seek to reward excellance in music, sports, and film over the past year, and Emma has certainly proved the latter, after all that has followed the Harry Potter series, including Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, and This Is the End.
Dear Professor Sprout,
Since my studies have begun here at Hogwarts I have been lucky enough to have made a large and diverse group of friends. Not only in my own house, Hufflepuff, but I can also count among my friends a few Gryffindors, a couple of Ravenclaws, and one Slytherin. Now this Slytherin is probably the best friend I’ve ever had. Oh sure, we can get competitive over Quidditch matches and the House Cup. But at the end of the day we care for one another and try to spend as much free time as we can with each other. However I’m afraid to say that some of my fellow badgers don’t understand how I can be friends with a snake. My Slytherin friend is not evil or vindictive or stuck up in any way. He’s just very driven to succeed and has high goals for himself, which I don’t see as bad thing. How can I help my fellow badgers see the error of their judgments?
Dear Professor Sprout,
I’m a Hufflepuff and all my friends are in Gryffindor and Slytherin. It’s hard not to feel uncool when I’m around them. I’m happy as a Badger, but sometimes I wish I was cooler.
What do you think I should do?
Daniel Muniowski and his fiancée Natalia from Poland have been collecting the Harry Potter books for several years. Together, they have amassed 150 Harry Potter books in 72 different languages and only need 4 more languages to have at least one in EVERY translation (Galician, Azerbaijani, Malay, and Indonesian).
Dear Hermione Granger,
First of all,I would like to tell you thank you for helping the house elves I would like to also like to ask you does your parents being dentists affect your consumption of Bertie Botts Every Flavored Beans? Have your kids taken a liking to any particular candy? Do your kids look more like you or Ron? Do they get along with their cousins (James,Lily, and Albus)? Do you enjoy your job? Do you and Ron sometimes get to work together? Last but not least, what was your and Ron’s wedding like?!?!?
Dear Hermione Granger,
Books are my best friends except two muggles that I went to school with. Now I just transferred from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic to Hogwarts in my second year and I get picked on for being the smartest in my year and having no friends that sit with me in the great hall. A little help please?
Dear Hermione Granger,
I’ve always marveled at how well you stayed on top of your school work every day! I would really love some advise on how to study and learn as well as you do. For years I’ve always fell behind and didn’t understand what the teachers were talking about! Naturally I asked for help but still didn’t understand, again I will really appreciate some studying techniques. Hope to hear back from the best school girl ever!
Dear Hermione Granger,
I am a second-year student from Hufflepuff. Like you, I am a very keen learner and I am one of the best students in the grade. However, I am often teased or made fun of for my diligence. What should I do?
Thank you very much and I hope you will give me some advice.
Dear Hermione Granger,
Hello! I’m a muggle born, and I just recently got my letter to go to Hogwarts! I’m so excited! Anyway, my mum is really nervous about how we are going to get the supplies I need. Nobody knows where it is, except for witches and wizards, and I don’t know any yet! I thought you would be the best one to tell me where the Leaky Cauldron is in London, and how to get there in a non-magical way, since you are a muggle born too. How did you find out where it is?
