The “American Film Institute” (AFI) voted for a special award for the entire “Harry Potter” film series on Sunday. The AFI Awards, which focuses on American features, cited ten movies and ten television programs of the year. The selections were made by a jury that was chaired by Tom Pollock for the movies, and also included Whoopi Goldberg, fim historian Leonard Maltin, university professors, critics and members of the AFI board of trustees.

“Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience – A Parody by Dan and Jeff” is a two-man play that takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing or “potting” all seven “Harry Potter” novels into seventy madcap minutes. Written and performed by Olivier Award-nominated actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, aided by multiple costume changes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props, and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic. The show also invites audiences to engage in Dan and Jeff’s own special version of a game of Quidditch.
