It has been revealed that Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom) has been involved with the development of an animated TV series called “Captain Extraordinary”. Matt has lent his voice to the title character, Captain Extraordinary, as Rushfirth Creative, a Yorkshire-based company, develops the series.

According to “Keighley News”, Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) has been signed on to play Branwell Brontë, brother to the famous writer sisters of the same surname, in a biopic about their lives. The film, titled “The Brontes,” will apparently be created by Yorkshire-based film company Clothworkers Films, the budget estimated to be around £10 million.
Members of registered charity Armley Helping Hands were rewarded with a treat when Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) decided to pay them a visit and join in with their excercise class. The charity, which set up the Reconnect Community Project, helps older people of the Armley and Wortley area of Leeds to do such things as take up hobbies and gain more independence. The Yorkshire Evening Post reported how Lewis was eager to visit the group he’d heard so much about.
Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) has confirmed that his brother Anthony, also an actor, is all set to open a new drama school in their hometown of Leeds. Totally Lit North will follow the success of the Totally Lit College based in London and will open in February.
The Christmas special of “Bluestone 42,” which features Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) airs tonight (Monday) in the UK. In the series Matthew plays Gordon “Towerblock” House, an ammunition technician.
In an interview with the Radio Times, Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) said he would love to work with his “Harry Potter” cast mates again in the future.
