Rereading “Potter”: Remember…?
The “Harry Potter” series is too long to remember every scene, so here’s a list of some of my favorite moments in the series that I tend to forget or miss as I reread them.

his past weekend, MuggleNet attended Wizard World’s Chicago Comic Con at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. While none of the special guests were HP actors, there was still a noticeable presence of fans dressed up as characters from the Harry Potter series. We caught several of them and asked them why they chose what they did for their Comic Con outing.
Dear Harry, What job do you have? Is Ginny really a Quidditch player? How old were you when you got married? You should play for the Tornados.
There are so many relationships within the series, so I’ve decided to make this post ongoing, posting related articles in the future. But for now, let’s start with the whole Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione thing. I’m going to begin by saying this news from Rowling isn’t going to be easy for any true Harry Potter fan because we are so accustomed with Character A and Character B being together. They should be together just because they should be together. But why?
Rowling has admitted to using astrological signs; her characters have a wide variety of birthdays in order to highlight their individual personalities.
Dear Harry Potter,
Did you ever go by the quote “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer?”
Dear Harry Potter,
My life being a student in a muggle school was quite horrible. My guy close friend had left me just because I’m weird. Maybe because he doesn’t like people who believes in magic and who are witches and wizards. I used to sit alone in the corner and decided to end our friendship because I realized that he’s not a true friend. We still do not talk now, but my biggest problem is the teachers here in the muggle school are so mean, especially our Math and Physics teachers. They call us stupid and they don’t tolerate it. It’s kinda stressful and I really don’t know how to handle it. My classmates, on the other hand, were annoyed with me, not because I’m hot-headed when I’m busy – it’s because I’m too quiet. Actually, that’s really me. I’m not a type of person who used to talk a lot. They used to tell me negative things that aren’t true and I’m usually bullied by some complete strangers. I really want to go back to Hogwarts and I have to wait until September 1 to pack my things and go straight to Platform 9 and 3/4. I don’t know how to be strong, could you please help me?
Dear Harry Potter,
I wanted to start off by telling you that I am your BIGGEST fan. You are such an amazing, brilliant and caring person that I have looked up to you ever since 4th grade when I started reading the Harry Potter books. Now I am in college, but the magic of Potter will never leave me 🙂
There is one question that I’ve been wanting to ask you, and I hope you will be able to answer it. In your fifth year at Hogwarts, when Hagrid introduced threstrals in your Care of Magical Creatures class, how come you were only able to see them from the fifth year (after Cedric Diggory died)? They had always pulled the carriages at Hogwarts but you didn’t see them until the fifth book. Why is that, when you saw your parents die when you were only 1-year-old?
Thank you so much for taking your time to read this Mr. Potter, I hope to be able to meet you one day!

It’s high time I paid homage to the mighty MuggleNet. Where to start? I love the design, (I currently favour the ‘Dementor’ layout), the polls (I actually voted in the ‘Who’s the Half-Blood Prince?’ one), the pretty-much-exhaustive information on all books and films, the wonderful editorials (more insight there than in several companion volumes I shall not name), 101 Ways to Annoy Lord Voldemort (made me laugh aloud), the Wall of Shame (nearly as funny as some of the stuff I get)… pretty much everything. Webmaster Emerson, Eric, Jamie, Damon, Ben, Matthew, Rachel, Jaymz and Sharon, I salute you.
