We previously posted that “Potter” stars Emma Watson and Julie Waters, as well as British audiobook narrator Stephen Fry, had designed bears for the Paddington Trail, a charity effort where celebrities designed bears that were placed around London and later auctioned for charity. In December, “Potter” producer David Heyman, who also served as the producer for “Paddington”, hosted an auction at Christie’s to auction off 15 of these lively statues to benefit the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. An additional online auction was also hosted, together raising over $1.4 million for the charity.

We announced a little while ago that a “Paddington” trail, with “Paddington” statues decorated by various well-known names, would be placed around London. The trail was unveiled today, and among the statues are the bears that “Potter” stars Emma Watson, Julie Walters (Mrs. Weasley), and Stephen Fry (UK audiobooks) have designed.
Today, it was announced that an official Paddington trail was being created by VisitLondon.com, NSPCC, and STUDIOCANAL. Many well-known faces have already given their support to the trail and will be designing their own statues, including Emma Watson.
