The Age of Hufflepuff is here… What does the Sorting Hat have to say about it?
JKR should never let go of the “Harry Potter” series, and neither should we. We just need to be allowed to imagine things on our own. Sometimes, less information is more.
The magic brought to us by Pottermore is changing its focus. Are you ready for these changes?
It’s been less than a month since we learned that the House Cup awarded on September 9 would be Pottermore’s last and only a few days since it was revealed that Pottermore as we know it is coming to an end – and the site is set to reveal a whole new chapter for fans. While those revelations make us feel a lot of things – a bit sad, excited, curious – we certainly have something worth celebrating today: Hufflepuff has won the final House Cup!
As we approach the end of the third book on Pottermore, the chapter moments seem to be getting smaller. In this installment, Harry wins the Quidditch Cup, and the trio takes on exams, predictions, and the Minister of Magic.
If you’ve been Sorted on Pottermore, you know that there is no Hat to scream “Not _______!” into. There are no arguments or discussions or choices to be taken into account when being Sorted. So how do we know we’ve been placed into the right House?
We were all saddened – and rather intrigued – to hear that Pottermore would be announcing the last ever House Cup on September 9. What, we wondered, did this mean for the site? What changes were happening?
A tweet sent out today from Pottermore’s official Twitter account seems to suggest that the biannual House Cup award may be coming to an end early next month.
