WB launches site to showcase ‘Deathly Hallows – Part 2′ for Oscar consideration

Warner Bros. has just recently launched a new website in order to promote the studio’s best movies of 2011, in order to give the Academy a preview of which films they want voters to consider for nominations.

The following movies are being promoted: Cantagion, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Happy Feet 2, J. Edgar, and of course Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

The website gives a detailed description of each film’s news, reviews, possible nomination categories, as well as a sampling of the scoring from each film. For Deathy Hallows – Part 2, Warner Bros. is showcasing some brilliant photos from key scenes in the movie.

This is not a public voting website, but it looks terrific and will hopefully go a long way towards the promotion Warner Bros. plans to implement to win some Oscars at next year’s Academy Awards!
