Leaky Cauldron Wins Theme Park Insider Awards!

The winners of the 2015 Theme Park Insider Awards have been announced, and attractions from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Orlando have taken home not one but two of the top prizes!

The Leaky Cauldron restaurant, which was also recently nominated for USA Today’s best amusement park restaurant, won the Theme Park Insider Award for best quick-service restaurant.

Robert Niles, editor of the Theme Park Insider website describes the Leaky Cauldron’s success, saying,

In its first year of operation, Diagon Alley’s signature eatery moved immediately to the head of the field.

And the new Hogwarts Express train ride, which allows guests to ride from the Diagon Alley section of the Wizarding World to the Hogsmede section, won in the best new family attraction category.

In total, Universal Orlando won in three of the eleven different categories. The winners were rated by Theme Park Insider readers over the past 12 months.
