June 1, 2016 – Brussels – Harry Potter™: The Exhibition, which will open at Palais 2 of Brussels Expo on June 30, 2016, is the must-see exhibition of the summer in Brussels, Belgium, with a record 75,000+ pre-sale tickets sold a month prior to opening.  The exhibition will be open through September 11, 2016.

Larger than 1,400 square meters, the exhibition will offer Harry Potter fans in Belgium an immersive look into the famous wizarding world.

In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP), GES produced and created the interactive traveling exhibition, where visitors are able to enjoy dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts™ film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes, props and creatures from the films.  Brussels Expo will be the exhibition’s fourth stop in Europe following Paris, France, Cologne, Germany and Norrköping, Sweden. Since its highly successful premiere at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago in 2009, the exhibition has been presented in a variety of major cultural and entertainment institutions and museums in cities around the world including Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York City, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, and Shanghai, and has been seen by more than 3.5 million visitors worldwide. Earlier this year, WBCP and GES announced the extension of the global tour with additional stops through spring 2020.

“Harry Potter: The Exhibition has thrilled audiences all over the world and we are delighted by the excitement it has generated in Brussels,” said GES President, Steve Moster. “We are excited to bring the fans in Belgium a chance to experience the world of Harry Potter first-hand.”
