Graphic Designers for the ‘Harry Potter’ films discuss the Wizard’s Collection DVD set design

by Keith Hawk · Published April 25, 2012 · Updated January 19, 2017

The Harry Potter films graphic artists, Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, were instrumental in bringing the magic of the Harry Potter books to life on the big screen. They were also key designers for the props seen at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park in Orlando, Florida.

Now, the two brilliant artists discuss how the design of the Weasleys; Wizard Wheezes Skiving Snackboxes led to the development of the next magnificent collection of Blu-ray/DVD’s with the Wizard’s Collection, which will be released on September 7, 2012.

Additionally, we have added other videos for you to watch in our Wizard’s Collection information page right here (just scroll to the bottom of the page). This 30-minute 3-part video series includes how the graphic designers developed a number of props seen in the film and how J.K. Rowling absolutely loved coming to the studios to see the props as they were being made. One of Jo’s favorite props, according to the designers, was The Tales of Beedle the Bard for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.

This Wizard’s Collection Blu-ray/DVD collection is available for pre-order.
