Rumor: J.K. Rowling to write short story for “Doctor Who” 50th Anniversary?

Attention Potter and Doctor Who fans: Steven Moffat, one of the executives of the iconic British sci-fi show, hinted in an interview earlier this week the J.K. Rowling may write a short story as part of the celebration surrounding the show’s 50th anniversary.

BBC has announced that the special shorts will be written by famous children’s authors, but when asked if Rowling was among them, Moffat replied that he could not “confirm that…right now”. Many are speculating that this means this rumor will be confirmed soon.

Rowling previously declined to write a full episode for the show. There was also talk about her appearing in a episode, which unfortunately did not happen, either.
